I practice under Minnesota Statute 146A, the Complementary and Alternative Health Care Practices Act, which allows unlicensed practitioners to offer non-invasive natural health services.
I am not a licensed physician, chiropractor, naturopath, dietitian, or nutritionist. I do not diagnose disease, I do not treat disease, and I do not prescribe. My credentials are academic degrees and private certifications, not state licenses.
This page tells you exactly what that means in practice.
My practice is grounded in advanced manual muscle testing, functional nutrition, and holistic lifestyle coaching. That is what a client actually receives.
The principles I draw on are broader than that, and they inform how I make decisions rather than being separate services I sell. They include herbology and botanical support, homeopathic principles, drainage and elimination support, whole-food nutrition, traditional naturopathic principles, the use of physical forces such as light, water, hydration, and rest, and mind-body practices including meditation, grounding, and spiritual centering. All of these fall within the practices recognized under Minnesota Statute 146A.
That last one matters, so I will say it plainly. Any decision about a prescription belongs to you and your prescriber. Not to me. I will ask you to tell your prescriber that you are working with me on nutrition and lifestyle, so they have the full picture, and then whatever they decide is theirs to decide.
Keep seeing your doctor. My work is meant to sit alongside your medical care, not replace it, and I have no interest in being your only source of health support.
If something in our work together suggests you need medical attention, I will tell you so and refer you. If you need a diagnosis, a prescription, imaging, or any licensed medical service, you can seek that at any time, and you do not need my agreement to do it.
Before we begin, you will receive and sign a Minnesota Client Bill of Rights. That document explains your rights in detail and tells you how to raise a concern with me directly or with the Minnesota Department of Health.
If you are not sure whether my work is right for your situation, call me before you book. I would rather tell you honestly that I am not a good fit than take your money and waste your time.
